Boc-11-aminoundecanoic acid is an aliphatic linker for PROTAC synthesis, with an alkane chain bearing a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. The carboxylic acid can couple with primary amines using activators such as EDC or HATU to produce an amide bond. Mild acidic conditions remove the Boc protecting group to expose the free amine for subsequent functionalization.
