t-Boc-N-amido-PEG3-acid is a PEG linker with a carboxylic acid terminus and a Boc-protected amino group. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer supports solubility in aqueous media. With an activator such as EDC or HATU, the carboxylic acid can couple to primary amines to produce a stable amide bond. Mild acidic conditions remove the Boc protecting group to expose the free amine, providing a separate site for subsequent functionalization.
