SY-9 DBCO is a nonfluorescent acceptor dye for FRET applications, including peptide FRET probe preparation. It provides broad, intense quenching across 500-600 nm for pairing with dyes that emit in this range. The DBCO group reacts with azides by copper-free click chemistry to form a stable triazole, without a copper catalyst or elevated temperatures.
