Sulfo DBCO-UBQ-2 combines the dark quencher UBQ-2, which has a polyaromatic-azo backbone and no native emission, with a DBCO group for copper-free click chemistry. It quenches fluorescence in the 560-670 nm range and is suitable for qPCR probes and FRET applications involving orange to far-red dyes. The sulfo group enhances water solubility.
