BI 9564 is a selective inhibitor of the BRD9 and BRD7 bromodomains, with Kds of 14.1 and 239 nM, respectively. Cellular activity measured by semi-quantitative FRAP assay showed ~90% inhibition of BRD9 at 0.1 µM and BRD7 at 1 µM.
In preclinical research, BI 9564 inhibits proliferation of AML cell lines in vitro and reduces AML tumor xenograft growth in vivo. It is cataloged within the inhibitor section of the PROTAC Linkers collection.
