Thiol-PEG4-acid is a thiol-PEG-acid linker with a hydrophilic PEG spacer that increases aqueous solubility. Its thiol group reacts with maleimide, OPSS and vinylsulfone groups, as well as metal surfaces such as gold and silver. The terminal carboxylic acid can be coupled to primary amines using activators such as EDC or HATU to form a stable amide bond. The listed purity is 95%.
