- Description
TCO-PEG8-NHS ester is a PEG crosslinker combining a TCO moiety with an amine-reactive NHS ester. It can introduce TCO functionality onto antibodies, proteins and other macromolecules bearing primary amines for click chemistry applications. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases water solubility and reduces steric hindrance during ligation.
The TCO group can isomerize to its cis form and lose reactivity, so long-term storage is not recommended. The listed storage temperature is -20°C, and the reagent is soluble in DMSO, DCM, DMF.
