TCO-PEG4-TFP Ester is an amine-reactive labeling reagent for proteins, antibodies, and other amine-containing biopolymers, listed among click chemistry reagents and TCO-PEG linkers. Its TFP ester reacts with primary amines to form covalent amide bonds and provides resistance to hydrolysis in aqueous media.
TCO can isomerize to CCO (cis-cycloctene), with loss of reactivity, so long-term storage is not recommended. The listed storage condition is -20°C. Solubility is reported in DMSO, DMF, THF, Acetonitrile, DCM.
