TCO-PEG4-NHS ester is an amine-reactive PEG crosslinker for labeling antibodies, proteins and other molecules containing primary amines. Its TCO group supports rapid click chemistry under mild conditions, while the hydrophilic PEG spacer increases water solubility and reduces steric hindrance during ligation.
The reagent is listed as soluble in DMSO, DCM, DMF, with a purity of 95% and storage at -20°C. TCO can naturally isomerize to its unreactive cis form, so long-term storage is not recommended.
