tert-Butyl (10-aminodecyl)carbamate is an aliphatic linker with a terminal amine and a Boc-protected amino group. It is used in PROTAC synthesis and other conjugation applications. The free amine can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes. Mild acidic conditions remove the Boc protecting group to expose the second amine.
