tert-Butyl (5-aminopentyl)carbamate is an aliphatic linker used in PROTAC synthesis, with a terminal amine and a Boc-protected amino group on an alkane chain. The unprotected amine provides a reaction site for carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes.
