Mal-Amide-PEG4-Val-Cit-PAB-OH is a cleavable ADC linker containing a maleimide group, a hydrophilic PEG spacer, a Val-Cit dipeptide and a PAB group bearing a benzylic alcohol. The maleimide provides a site for covalent attachment to free cysteine thiols on proteins. The benzylic alcohol can be modified with reactive groups such as PNP for subsequent drug-payload conjugation.
