Carboxy-Amido-PEG4-t-Boc-N-amido is a PEG linker with a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. With an activator such as HATU, the acid can couple to primary amines to form a stable amide bond. Mild acidic conditions remove the Boc protecting group to expose the free amine.
The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. Listed under Boc-PEG and PEG Acid, the reagent has a specified purity of 98% and is soluble in Water, DMSO, DCM, DMF.
