t-Boc-N-amido-PEG4-(CH2)3CO2H is a PEG linker bearing a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. Activation with EDC or DCC allows the acid to couple with primary amines, forming a stable amide bond. Mild acidic conditions remove the Boc protecting group to expose the free amine.
