t-Boc-N-amido-PEG5-CH2CO2H is a PEG linker bearing a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. With an activator such as HATU, the carboxylic acid can couple to primary amines to produce a stable amide bond.
