TET azide, 6-isomer is a green-fluorescent tetrachlorofluorescein derivative supplied as the pure 6-isomer. It has an absorption maximum at 519 nm and an emission maximum at 535 nm, with spectral characteristics similar to R6G, JOE, and VIC. Its azide group enables conjugation to other molecules through copper-catalyzed or copper-free click reactions.
This fluorescein-labeling reagent can be used to prepare TET-labeled oligonucleotides for real-time PCR probes. It is soluble in DMSO, and the listed storage temperature is -20°C.
