AMCA-PEG1-amide-PEG4-Azide is a blue fluorescent reagent for protein and peptide labeling. Its azide group supports conjugation to terminal alkynes through copper-catalyzed click chemistry or to strained cyclooctynes through copper-free click chemistry. The PEG-containing spacer includes an amide bond and is described as increasing water solubility.
