TCO-PEG2-amine is a PEG linker bearing a click-reactive TCO moiety and a free amine. The amine supports stable amide bond formation with activated esters or with carboxyl groups using an activator such as EDC. Its hydrophilic PEG segment supports increased solubility in aqueous media.
The TCO moiety can isomerize to CCO with loss of click reactivity, so long-term storage is not recommended. The specified storage temperature is -20°C; listed solvents include DMSO, DCM, DMF.
