t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-NHS ester is a PEG linker combining an NHS ester with a t-Boc-protected amine. Its NHS ester reacts with primary amines (-NH2), supporting labeling of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules. Mild acidic conditions remove the t-Boc group to expose a free amine. The hydrophilic PEG spacer helps increase the aqueous solubility of conjugated compounds.
