- Description
t-Boc-N-amido-PEG10-NHS ester combines a hydrophilic PEG spacer with an NHS ester and a Boc-protected amine. The NHS ester enables labeling of primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. Mild acidic conditions can remove the Boc protecting group to expose a free amine.
The PEG spacer can increase the water solubility of an attached compound in aqueous media. Listed solvents are DMSO, DCM, DMF, and the supplied purity is 98%.
