t-Boc-N-amido-PEG1-NHS ester is a PEG linker bearing an NHS ester and a Boc-protected amine. The NHS ester enables labeling of primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. Mild acidic conditions can remove the Boc protecting group to expose a free amine.
