t-Boc-N-amido-PEG20-acid is a PEG linker with a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amino group. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. With activators such as EDC or HATU, the carboxylic acid reacts with primary amines to form a stable amide bond. Mild acidic conditions remove the Boc group to expose the free amine.
