- Description
TCO-PEG4-acid combines a TCO group with a terminal carboxylic acid through a hydrophilic PEG spacer. The TCO group reacts with tetrazines through an inverse electron demand Diels Alder (IEDDA) reaction followed by a retro-DA step. The acid group can couple with primary amines using an activator such as EDC, while the PEG spacer increases aqueous solubility.
Listed solvents are DMSO, DCM, DMF, and the storage condition is -20°C. Long-term storage is not recommended because TCO can isomerize to its cis form and lose reactivity.
