- Description
TCO-PEG6-acid is a PEG-containing click chemistry linker with a TCO group and a terminal carboxylic acid. The acid supports coupling to primary amines with an activator such as EDC, while the TCO group reacts with tetrazines through an inverse electron demand Diels Alder (IEDDA) reaction followed by a retro-DA reaction. The hydrophilic PEG spacer promotes solubility in aqueous media.
The reagent is listed as soluble in DMSO, DCM, DMF, with storage at -20°C. TCO can isomerize to the less reactive cis form, so prolonged storage is not recommended.
