- Description
TCO-PEG12-acid is a PEG linker bearing a TCO moiety and a terminal carboxylic acid. The acid group supports coupling to primary amines in the presence of EDC, while the TCO group reacts with tetrazine-containing molecules through an inverse-electron-demand Diels–Alder cycloaddition to form a stable covalent bond.
The linker is soluble in Water, DMSO, DCM, DMF. Storage is specified at -20°C, but prolonged storage is not recommended because TCO can isomerize to its cis form and lose reactivity toward tetrazines.
