- Description
TCO-PEG3-acid is a PEG linker combining a TCO group for tetrazine click chemistry with a terminal carboxylic acid for amine coupling. With activators such as EDC or HATU, the acid reacts with primary amines to form an amide bond. The TCO group forms a covalent linkage with tetrazine-containing compounds through inverse-electron demand Diels-Alder cycloaddition.
The reagent is soluble in DMSO, DCM, DMF and has a listed storage temperature of -20°C. TCO can isomerize to its less reactive cis form, so long-term storage is not recommended.
