TCO-PEG36-acid is a long-chain, monodisperse PEG linker bearing a TCO group and a terminal carboxylic acid. The acid supports amide bond formation with primary amines in the presence of EDC, while the TCO group reacts with tetrazine-containing compounds without copper catalysis or elevated temperatures.
The reagent is soluble in DMSO, DMF, DCM and has a listed purity of 90%. The specified storage temperature is -20°C. TCO can lose reactivity through isomerization, so long-term storage is not recommended.
